Biography

American theoretical physicist who won the Nobel Prize for his work on quantum electrodynamics. His memoir "Surely You're Joking, Mr. Feynman!" reveals a brilliant, irreverent personality who loved bongo drums, safe-cracking, and practical jokes as much as physics. He was also a key member of the Manhattan Project and later helped investigate the Challenger disaster.
