Biography

About Ezra

Priest and scribe who led a return of exiles from Babylon to Jerusalem and reformed the Jewish community. Traditionally credited with compiling Chronicles, Ezra, and Nehemiah, he is regarded as a second Moses who restored the Torah to the people.
